They organised a pride rally drawing a spirited crowd of 300 individuals, marching proudly down the streets of Canberra, waving rainbow flags in a show of unity. This inaugural event marked the birth of what has now become a remarkable tradition.

Today, the SpringOUT Pride Festival has evolved into a well-organised and energised committee-run festival. This dedicated team has infused the event with a renewed sense of optimism and an even greater commitment to celebration.
